Hello there, my name is Gandalf. I am a Shepherd mix boy around 3 years old. I weigh around 65-70lbs. I was in a high kill dog pound in Southern Ohio, and am very thankful that I was rescued. I have the protective nature of a German Shepherd, but love the water like a Labradore Retriever. Swimming is high on my list of the most wonderful things! Being with a person of my own is also at the top of my wonderful things list. I am a very smart, and very loyal guy, not to mention very handsome if I do say so myself. I need a strong pack leader. Someone that is shepherd savvy. No cats for me please! I love children, but with my protective nature, it would probably be best with no young children in the home. Visiting children would be fine, but when they are in the home I may try to guard them too much. I am potty trained, crate trained, and an all around good boy with my humans, but will not be able to go to the dog park or doggy events. I am well trained and come with a training collar.
