**Baron**

Baron- A Stunning, Male-Neutered, Black and Tan, 2 to 3 years old, (We think he's Czech or German Lines, due to his looks and his Energy Level). Up to Date on Vaccines, de-wormed and is on Flea and Heartworm Prevention.

He is going through a Rehabilitation and Training Program to make him the best pup he can be. He was apparently left Tied & Starving, to a home, up in Cleveland....He was taken into rescue in pretty bad shape. When we got him in, He was SO skinny, that it actually hurt us, to pat his spine...He has now put on excellent weight and is in optimal condition! 

When he came to us, he had absolutely no idea how to be a dog...he tried to control people and other animals around him. His nature is confident, but suspicious of new people and things. So he WILL NEED AN EXTREMELY CONFIDENT HANDLER, to keep moving him forward.
This guy is Medium Energy BUT has A LOT of Stamina!! He will need a VERY Active, Firm & Consistent Person or Couple! He is not for a "non- disciplinarian home" He needs someone who is Patient, Active, Fun, Has A lot of Time to put into Training, Very Confident & Firm!
His adopter will be trained on how to keep this issue from resurfacing, before he is adopted!

With a STRONG handler, He walks well on leash, Knows sit, down & is doing much better in the car.
He has been socialized heavily with people and other animals(cats,a chicken and small dogs) He does well with them, WITH A KNOWLEDGEABLE HANDLER WHO UNDERSTAND BEHAVIOR & BODY LANGUAGE!). He needs to go to someone who is VERY experienced with Strong & Dominant German Shepherds. He will push his boundaries on having to respect space and commands, so he needs a very firm leader, NO exceptions. If you aren't comfortable with discipline, this is not your guy. Once he knows your the boss, he is a lot of fun and very goofy!! He is maturing slowly, so he is like a Big puppy. 

We would like a home with NO SMALL CHILDREN and NO SMALL ANIMALS, Unless its a Training Home!
He needs an active person or couple, who will put in the time to exercise him at least 5 days a week.
He absolutely loves to play, roll around in the grass and chew the sticks he finds in the yard. If he receives the leadership he needs, he's a big, fun guy to be with!

-Adoptable dogs, will be worked with their possible Adopter, before the dog is placed in his or her forever home. This is to Ensure a successful Adoption!
