HI! My name is Linus, I am an 11 lb. Terrier boy that will be 3 years old in October.There are too many dogs in my home so my owner sent me to the rescue to find a home where I can receive the care and attention I deserve. I just got neutered Thursday, received all my vaccinations and had a negative heart worm test. I am shy and submissive and have been picked on by some of the dogs in my former home so I will run and hide if someone tries to intimidate me. I love my relative Missy who came to the rescue with me but it is not necessary that we be adopted together.  A person with a comfortable lap for my very own would be a dream come true but if you have a friendly dog I am willing to share!A note from foster mom: Linus has only been with me for 3 days and is recovering well from his neuter surgery. He also has a rather severe flea dermatitis and is on antibiotics for 3 weeks. He is used to using pee pads but we are working on outside potty training and leash walking. My Dachsund female is jealous and will try to intimidate him and he will run away from her when she does that. He is fine with my other dogs and his relative Missy. I haven't had him long enough to get a complete handle on his personality but so far he is a loving and gentle little boy. His former owner reports that he is an escape artist, I have not seen this behavior in him yet. Because of this and his small size a home with older considerate children only who will not inadvertently let him escape or injure him would be best.
