Baby is a sweet dappled miniature dachshund. She likes to play, but also loves to hang out on the sofa. She’s more of a couch potato than her best friend Max. She is pad trained and also goes outside but is not 100% house trained. She like to go outside in a fenced yard with the other dogs. She is friendly with other dogs and likes to wrestle and snooze with a dog for naps. At night, she sleeps under the covers in his human’s bed. She has a prey drive and chases cats, so no cats please. She is fine in a crate and should eat her dinner in a crate as she is food aggressive.

Baby can be shy or scared when she meets new people. After she knows the person, she is a sweetheart and gives lots of kisses.

Baby is spayed, recently vaccinated and on heartworm, flea and tick preventatives. She also had a dental about a month ago.

Her ideal home would be with someone who is home most of the time and who has dachshund experience, a fenced yard, and no cats. Her best friend is another mini-dachshund named Max. She is also listed as a courtesy pet. Both are being placed because their owner can no longer take care of them.
