his is Hank. He’s about 10 years old, 65lbs, and one of the most gentle souls you’ll ever meet.

Hank loves kids. He gets along with everyone. He’s the kind of dog who asks for nothing but a little kindness in return.

But, for the last two years, Hank has known nothing but loneliness. Two whole years. That’s over 700 days of living in a cold, crumbling kennel at the Adams County Dog Pound. Two long years without the warmth of a home, the sound of a kind voice, or the simple joy of being someone’s dog.

No, he’s not flashy, he’s not cute, and he’s not tough. He’s just an old dog. An old dog who has been forgotten by the world. But that shouldn’t be the end of his story. It can’t be!

Look at his pictures. Look at his kennel. This has been Hank’s entire world for two years—a concrete floor, chain-link walls, and an endless wait for a family that hasn’t come.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. Hank still has so much love to give. Imagine him in a warm home, his tail wagging as he opens his very first Christmas present. Imagine him finally knowing what it feels like to be loved, after years of being invisible.

Hank deserves that. He deserves better. He deserves a miracle.
