Hi! My foster mom calls me Wienie because I am just a little Wiener dog. I’m a purebred miniature Dachshund who somehow ended up at the pound. I don't like being alone, I get frightened. I need to be with canine siblings or someone who is home a lot. I am happiest on my foster mommies lap. Although I get along just fine with other dogs, cats, and kids, too, I mostly just want to lie on the nearest lap. Like many others of my breed, I also love to burrow under the covers when I sleep. If you are looking for a little guy to spoil and have a lap that needs an occupant, look no further. And don’t forget to stop and pick up some treats for me too! Hope to meet you soon!

***Though Wienie is housebroken, he does have a little bit of excitement urination. This tends to be a very simple matter to address, and can usually be easily overcome if someone is just willing to take the time to work on it. With only a bit of extra time with Wienie, he'd no longer "leak" when excited to see you!
