Hi, My name is Heidi and I am about 6 years old and apx 45 pounds. They think I am a shepherd Husky mix, as I have the most stunning ice-blue eyes that are often seen in the Husky breed.  I was adopted 5 years ago by a family and have been living with a three year old.I am still very active and the family just doesn't have enough time for me and they are expecting a second baby.I am good with children, but I am very protective of my family.I need to have  a strong leader to teach me how to act when company comes over. I will bark and not warm up to them right away. I need to be introduced to company in the correct way.A busy household with people in and out, may be too much.I am very loving after I get to know you.I am active, so a walk a day would be needed. Maybe a runner or jogger to take me along.I love to chase a frisbee and I will play fetch with a ball. I have learned to sit and lay down, and come when called.I am a smart girl!
