Looking for a Lab pup who is as good as he is good-looking?

Robbie was born on April 17 and turned six weeks old over Memorial Day weekend. This little guy is a real sweetheart - he is both loving and playful, and just as mischievious as all pups his age should be but is not over the top as far as energy level goes.  Now that his siblings have been adopted, he loves playing with his Mama and his "aunties" and thinks he is big stuff getting to hang out with the grownups!  He does well in his crate and is starting to get the hang of the housebreaking thing.  Robbie has a terrific disposition and is going to make a great dog for whoever is lucky enough to adopt him.  He is also very good-looking pup with a gorgeous black coat and should be quite a handsome fellow when full grown.  Robbie has been wormed and has had his first shots as appropirate for his age.  He is just waiting for the right someone to scoop him up and take him home!

If you are considering adopting any of our young puppies, it is recommended that they not go to a home where an owner is at work - or not present - for full work day. The longest they should be left alone is for 3 or 4 hours at a time during the first month or so after being adopted, and even that is a long time during the first few weeks after being weaned.  Besides the fact that their bodies are not developed enough to “hold it” when they are this young, leaving them crated or unattended for hours on end will not offer them the love, attention, socialization, exercise, or training that they will need to become the adult dogs you want them to be for their lifetime - and a good part of your lifetime too.

If you think you are ready to take on the comittment of raising and training a puppy, you can easily fill out an adoption application by clicking here: adoption application.
