Dakota:  a stray, white male German Shepherd approximately 5-8 months old.  Going to be a big boy as he is already about 50 pounds.  VERY sweet disposition and very gentle.  He loves to be around his people and even sleeps in the bed with his foster mom. He is also great with kids.  He is good with other dogs, but they have seen a few alpha traits and food aggression coming out. They are working on getting him over this. He is very playful and very "puppy-like."  He chases cats relentlessly so perhaps he should be in a "no cat" home depending upon the situation.   He is having some separation anxiety but they are trying to work through that.  He knows his name and responds well to it.  He is picking up on commands fairly quickly and can be off lead in the yard with his foster family.  They are working on house training and he is doing fairly well with this though it will take some more time and work.  He enjoys his toys, playing with his foster sister and he enjoys snuggling most of all.  He is a sweet, sweet boy who deserves a second chance.
