UPDATE: Maya has recently graduated from the cell dog program.  During this program she was trained by selected inmates who were overseen by a professional dog trainer. She attended classes to learn more about house training, basic obedience and some fun tricks too! Maya has finished her Cell Dog training and is ready for her new forever home. Could that be you?

Hi, My name is Maya and I am about a 1 year old mixed breed female. They think I may be flat coated retriever Border Collie mix but are not sure. I am just out of the puppy stage so still have quite a bit of energy. I know how to sit but that it about all I have been taught so far. I will be joining the awesome cell dog program to learn all of the other skills I will need to be a good family dog. I already like all people and seem to get along with other dogs and probably cats too. I weigh 45 pound, am up to date on my shots, heartworm negative and spayed.  If you are looking for a smart, young, good looking girl to join your family I will be ready soon for my new forever home.
