Meet Marley.  This little ragamuffin could probably benefit from a good haircut, but this look is kind of "in" where she comes from.  She also has not been too concerned about her appearance because she has been living on her own and just figuring out how to survive.  But the good news is that she is now in foster care, so life has just gotten a whole lot better for her!  Marley's foster mom says that she is friendly with everyone - including children, other dogs, and even cats.  She is really a little gal - not even a lapful at under 10 lbs!  She is full grown too, though she is estimated to still be pretty young - proably only about 2 years old.  Marley sleeps well in her crate, and her house-breaking traiing is coming along very well!

Marley is currently living on a small island in Caribbean, where life isn't always the laid back, easy breezy life you might imagine.  She is lucky to have been found and taken in by the local Animal Welfare organization that Rose's Rescue helps out from time to time, so now she has access to fresh water and food every day!!  She is also protected now from other dangers, such as getting hit by a car or being poisoned.  Unfortunately, the opportunities for her to get adopted from this little island are few and far between.  The island population is very small and most responsible pet owners already have multiple dogs.  Sometimes the Animal Welfare gets lucky and some very nice tourists will be able to adopt one of their dogs, but it is not a heavily visited island, especially coming up to this time of year.
