Ladybug was a stray that ended up at the local pound - a pregnant stray, that is. She had five healthy babies on July 10, and will be able to go when her puppies are weaned. We expect that to be sometime in late August. She will be required to be spayed as soon as the vet reccomends, usually about six weeks past weaning.
Ladybug gets along with other dogs just fine, but she does not look to them for companionship like she does her person. We don't know yet how she might be with kids or cats. She is a bit vocal when she sees a critter or a unknown person passing by, so she would make an excellent watch dog. Ladybug is a small dog, much smaller than an actual Corgi.
