Kendra currently has an adoption pending.
This girl was a stray but oh, my, what a beauty she is and what a doll, too! She is such a good girl, and so good-natured. I can't imagine a family who would not adore her. She's about 40 lbs or so, has shiny, black short to medium-length coat, loves everyone and gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in her foster home. She is housebroken and does not need to be crated. And did you notice that she also has the biggest brown eyes ever? Plain and simply, she's a keeper.
We believe that Kendra has been already spayed, as she has what our vet believes to be a spay scar. However, Kendra's previous owners neglected to give her monthly heartworm preventative care. She was bit by a mosquito who was carrying heartworm and became infected with the parasite. Luckily, we had her tested and discovered her condition so her life has literaly been saved. She is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm after which she will be perfectly healthy in every way. Kendra is well on her way to recovery and is now available for adoption.
