This bundle of love is named Houston. We think he is a golden collie mix and unfortunately his former owner did not keep him on heartworm preventative so he came into the shelter with nasty heartworms. The rescue is taking him and will get him treated then with a short time of rest he will be as good as new and be able to live a normal active life. Houston is up to date on his shots and will be neutered as soon as he is done with his heatworm treatment.
