Ellie Mae is not a Roses Rescue dog and we will not be handling her inquiries or her adoption, but are posting her here in order to help her foster mom find her a forever home as soon as possible. To adopt or find out more about her, please use the contact information listed at the end of her description.
If sweet Ellie Mae could talk, she's probably tell us that she's had it a little rough for the first few years of her life. Rescued from the pound by a caring volunteer, she was covered with ticks, has teeth worn down (probably from chewing on a cage) and appears to have been bred numerous times. But that hasn't affected her temperament one bit, as she's just about as sweet and gentle as can be. At a pound adoption event, she was ever so patient with all the little ones who approached her to give hugs and pats. She's also good with other dogs and even kitties, too! Ellie is a hound, however, and she will follow her nose, especially if it might lead to a tasty snack - whether or not it's intended for canine consumption! So put your goodies out of reach and then make some room in your heart and home for this wonderful girl.
Her adoption fee is $75.00; she is spayed, up to date on shots and is heartworm negative. For more information, contact her foster mama at kristinhensley1@yahoo.com or call 330-322-4619.
