Hi, My name is Nikki and I am soon to be a 3 legged dog. Something happened over a year ago to me and I had surgery to put pins in and fix my back leg. Then my owners never followed through. No therapy and the pins were never removed like they were supposed to be. So the vet says that the leg is all shriveled and cannot be fixed now and the only thing that can be done to make me comfortable is to amputate the leg. The rescue is going to get me all fixed up and a nice lady is going to foster me but I would really like a caring home of my own. I am a 1 1/2 years old Pit mix and I weigh 40 pounds. I am spayed and up to date on my shots. My foster mom says I am a great dog. Friendly, happy and I love everybody and everything. Adults, kids, other dogs, cats. I love them all.The vet says I should be able to get around just fine after I heal from my surgery so if you would like to help me out and give me the home I deserve please fill out the application below.
