An adoption is now pending for Baxter, thank you!
This is Baxter. He gets along fine with the other dogs in his foster home, though no idea about cats. He loves being outside, and LOVES car rides. Baxter is very laid back, and has a low-maintenance personality. He has never had an accident in the house, doesn't chew, doesn't bark excessively, does not jump up on you and is not at all hyper. His foster mom says he is one of the easiest fosters she's ever had. He is content to be in the same room with you and just be loved. Baxter sure could use someone to show him that he will be loved no matter what and that he will never know anything but TLC from here on out!
Baxter's a bit on the shy side and sometimes cringes at a quick hand towards his head, so was likely treated harshly in his past. He seemed to be fine with children at our public events so a family with well-behaved kids should be fine, though we think he would do best in a relatively quieter home.
Baxter is a big mystery as to his breed. Definitely some kind of Terrier in him, but what? Westie? Scottie? JRT? Wire-haired Fox? All possible! Maybe some Shih Tzu (coloring and he really does have a lot of hair) in there, possibly a bit of Corgi or even some Picardy Shepherd - who knows! He weighs around 25 lbs and has a stubby tail. His listed age is also a guess.
