Dax was surrendered to the local pound when her owner could no longer keep her.  

She is a chunky-monkey and needs to be on a strict diet to help her get back down to a healthy weight.  She may have a thyroid problem, so her adopter should consult a veterinarian about that possibility.  She also has a few sores/wounds on her back side that are healing nicely and should not present an issue in any way. 

Dax is an easy dog to have around; she makes few demands and just wants to be in the same room with her person.  But because she has been surrendered at an older age, her world has been turned upside down.  We are looking an adopter for her where she will never be shuffled around again, and give her the security of a loving home for the rest of her days.
