DuffyG
DuffyG

My husband and I felt very well care for by Roses Recue as we made a home for Duffy.  Duffy came into our lives with a bundle of problems - the biggest being anxiety caused aggression.  The rescue and his foster mom went above and beyond to remedy Duffy’s problems.  We have made progress too but we have much to do.  We love him and will continue giving him a forever home.

Clapper

This little one is Dexter (aka Clapper from Frieda’s litter). What a handful but a wonderful addition for our 9 month old hound mix Dahlia. They play and romp around all day. Love to hear them run around.

Moochie

We adopted a girl named Moochie, who we now call Lucy. She's getting along fine with the other dog of mine. She's quite the rascal, always creative busy. She lives to be out, even though she is a freeze baby. We put on her coat and she'll stay out as long as she can tolerate the chill. We pull he back in only for her to ask to go out again. It's been a pleasure having her here and we loved our experience with Rose's Rescue.

Ditto

Thanks so much for reaching out! Copper has been doing great so far! We don't have any major concerns at the moment - he has been doing okay with potty training, still some accidents but that's to be expected, and he has been quite nippy but that is all standard puppy behavior we have been able to work on with him and seems to be slowly improving over time. He loves his kitty brothers a bit too much sometimes but the cats have safe places to run to when it's too much for them and it seems that everyone is adjusting okay. We have enrolled him in puppy preschool and he was been doing very well with that and will graduate to obedience classes soon. Overall, we are so happy to have adopted him and he has truly become part of our small family already!

Gizmo

Gizmo is doing well.  He’s a very sweet dog and seems to have settled in.  He’s done  well in the yard, hasn’t tried to get out of the fenced area.   We’ve been on several  walks which he really likes.  The only thing I’m working on is getting the cat  comfortable around him. He will chase her a little, doesn’t really try to catch her,  just likes to chase her out of the room.  I’m hoping they’ll get used to each other.   I’ve been putting a baby gate on the stairs so he can’t go up there when I’m at work,  a safe space for the cat.  Otherwise no issues.  He has an appointment at Memorial  Animal Hospital on May 27 to get established with them and to get his  heartworm/flea medicine.
